MMGY Global Leaders Recognized For Their Outstanding Contributions

News

We’re excited to announce that two of our company leaders, MMGY Global President Katie Briscoe and Danny Guerrero, VP of North America Strategy and GM, Los Angeles, were recently awarded accolades for their extraordinary work over this past year. Their contributions during one of the most difficult periods our industry has ever experienced have guided us to where we are today and are shaping the kind of company we aspire to be.

Katie was selected as the winner of CBIZ’s Women Transforming Business Award. She was one of ten finalists – all women from diverse fields whose contributions to their businesses had enormous positive impacts. CBIZ selected Katie for her resiliency and tenacity, compassionate leadership and for how she was able to reshape MMGY Global to weather the constant challenges presented by the pandemic.

We are also thrilled to announce that at the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) Global Summit, Danny was recognized for his “Outstanding Contribution” in advancing Diversity & Equity in the travel and tourism industries. Danny serves as a chair of MMGY Global’s DEI Council and has spearheaded numerous initiatives since taking on this role, including launching The Black Traveler: Insights, Opportunities and Priorities research report in partnership with industry partners the Black Travel Alliance, National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP) and the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators and Developers (NABHOOD).
