INFOGRAPHIC: Should the OTAs Be Worried?

MMGY Global has published the new 2015 Portrait of American Travelers® study, and online travel agencies (OTAs) may be concerned by some of the more surprising insights revealed in the report. In particular, the study finds that U.S. leisure travelers increasingly prefer booking reservations direct on travel supplier sites (i.e. brand.com), largely to the detriment of the long-dominant OTA sites. And, the magnitude of this shift is what’s most shocking.
