MMGY’s Robert Patterson Named Top Executive Shaping the Online Travel Industry

Skift, a travel intelligence media company, has selected MMGY Global Vice President of Content and Social Strategy, Robert Patterson, to its Skift30 list of the travel industry’s top online movers and shakers.

The Skift30 is a newly created list focused on highlighting the top travel industry executives shaping investment, acquisitions, trends and innovation in the online travel industry. Patterson was selected for his innovative approach to online marketing, his participation in the Google Glass Explorer program and spearheading the first use of Google Glass to market a tourism destination. Other movers and shakers who made the list include Travis Kalanick (Uber), Brian Chesky (Airbnb), Giorgos Zacharia (Kayak), Steve Kaufer (TripAdvisor), and Carl Shepherd (HomeAway).
