From YouTube to Snapchat, and everything in between, video content is being shared in a variety of formats and styles.
To further connect our clients with new audiences, the MMGY PR team has explored opportunities with Facebook Live, a medium that continues to grow in popularity with millennials to baby boomers. Prominent media outlets, politicians and our own clients are leveraging the channel’s new capability to introduce viewers to their travel offerings and establish a deeper connection. Terranea Resort’s Chef de Cuisine Andrew Vaughan heats up the kitchen on Refinery29’s “Messyeaters.” Chef showed the hosts how to prepare a seasonal summer ceviche live on Refinery29’s Living and Entertainment Facebook pages.
Intrepid Travel made an appearance at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Cheddar TV’s daily Facebook Live channel to talk about adventure travel and the coolest travel hacks. Cheddar TV is a streaming digital video service that broadcasts live from the NYSE daily and focuses on reaching the business-minded millennial.
South Dakota introduced four great presidents to their viewers via a Facebook Live stream of iconic Mount Rushmore - that happens to be celebrating its 75th anniversary of completion in 2016! The history of the monument and a beautiful summer day were shared with viewers near and far.
