Destination Hotels Energizes Brand with New Responsive Site
Destination Hotels has a new look, a fresh attitude, and a sleek new responsive website to showcase its distinctive offerings and experiences. Having evolved into a consumer-facing, foundational brand, Destination Hotels stands out as one of the industry’s largest operators of upscale and luxury independent hotels, resorts and residences. The new website, along with updated logo, enhanced signature touchpoints and added complementary brand partners, positions Destination Hotels as a cohesive collection of properties unlike any other hotel company.
Destination partnered with MMGY Global to launch a new responsive website on the Sitecore® Platform, ideal for experience management while offering robust content management. Now users can benefit from more personalized offerings based on their personal tastes and browsing activity.
In partnership with Destination Hotels, MMGY built a strategic website model that allows for a richer, more differentiated brand experience and a more seamless, connected online ecosystem.
Keeping with the mindset that content is king, MMGY implemented video and social media into the site as well as a new and improved blog, Go | See | Do. The blog displays evergreen content that highlights each destination, including a “2 Days” Local’s Guide series and posts written by guest bloggers.
In partnership with Sabre, the site also features an exploratory destination section and a vacation rental booking engine which allows guests to book individual units at any of Destination Hotels’ participating vacation residences.
On June 9, Destination Hotels launched the corporate site as well as two property sites. Additional site rollouts for each of the 45 Destination properties will continue throughout 2015 and 2016. The new site is expected to further increase website traffic, bookings and revenue to Destination properties and increase cross-sell awareness and revenue.
