MMGY Global Expands Internationally with Opening of First European Office
We are pleased to announce that European travel marketing specialist Chris Pomeroy has assumed the role of Director of Global Strategies and Client Services and will open MMGY’s first European office in Madrid.
Chris will be responsible for leading the agency’s services for international destinations and corporations with interest in attracting U.S. travelers. He will also oversee future MMGY offices in select outbound tourism source markets around the world. MMGY started the process of internationalization in 2014 by creating Travel Consul, a global network of tourism marketing agencies.
Chris was the CEO of Interface Tourism Spain and was behind the incorporation of the Interface Tourism Group, with offices in Madrid, Paris and Milan into the Travel Consul network. He will continue to be the primary shareholder of Interface Tourism, an MMGY partner that will continue to operate as part of the Travel Consul consortium.

Over the last 20 years Chris has designed communications and promotional strategies for some 50 destinations and leading corporations including Chile, Kenya, Philippines, Slovenia, Iceland, Expedia, Latam Airlines Group and Kayak. Chris is a British entrepreneur born in Canada and educated in Switzerland, England and Scotland.
