Globetrotters in Cleveland
Cleveland is said to be a place where grit meets sophistication. It possesses world-class experiences without the world-class ego. Make no mistake, Cleveland is a place you do not want to overlook. To uncover the multitude of things to see and do, MMGY invited three social media influencers to explore the destination and inspire summer travel.
The three influencers invited to participate were: Taylor Tippet of A Travelin Lady, (@TaylorTippet), Berty & Emily Mandagie of The Mandagies (@TheMandagies & @BertyMandagie) and Isabelle Cheng of The Allons.y (@Allons.y). Each influencer was aligned with three separate trip themes as part of the Make No Mistake campaign: quintessential Cleveland, outdoorsy Cleveland and laid-back Cleveland.
Each influencer traveled to Cleveland to enjoy a three-day, two-night stay in the city that, as Isabelle put it, “is a city that is for the person who prefers the not-so obvious.”
Favorite Cleveland moments and experiences were captured, resulting in the sharing of a total of five blog posts and more than 130 social media posts. Cleveland’s true unique character was revealed throughout each influencer’s unique trip. From tweets exploring the Gordon Square Arts District to Instagram Stories sharing the natural beauty of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cleveland was shown as a city you don’t want to ignore.
