Famed Restaurateur Joins Advisory Council in 2018

News

MMGY Global announced this week the addition of Michael Dellar to its advisory council. This group, which helps guide the company’s future, is comprised of 17 accomplished thought leaders from a wide variety of industries. Dellar, who has been a pioneer in culinary and food service, created Lark Creek Restaurant Group, which includes iconic establishments such as San Francisco’s One Market and other James Beard Award–winning restaurants. He was also a founding director of OpenTable.

Since 2016, MMGY Global has relied on its advisory council to help shape resource, talent and operational decisions through open collaboration with the company’s management team. Other members include the COO of Vail Resorts, the managing director of the Nature Conservancy, the CCO of Accenture and Stanford University’s athletic director.

“We are lucky to have access to the intellect and experience that this group brings to bear for our company. They are not only quite successful individuals, but the time they are willing to invest with us brings an invaluable perspective we can get nowhere else. The insight that I and our entire management team receive from this group makes us better operators and more skilled in the way we work with clients.” – Clayton Reid, CEO

The addition of Dellar to the advisory council is a nod to MMGY Global’s growing interest in the culinary space and ways in which it can impact that segment of hospitality.
