Another Record-Breaking First Quarter for Bermuda

2018 ushered in another record-breaking first quarter for the Bermuda Tourism Authority. Leisure air arrivals and visitor spending on the island beat last year's first quarter numbers – which was a record-breaking year as well. Compared to the same time period in 2017, leisure air arrivals were up 21 percent in the first quarter of 2018, and leisure air visitor spending grew by 25 percent.

The first three months of 2018 mark the ninth consecutive quarter that Bermuda's tourism industry has grown thanks to the new brand launch in January 2016, completed in partnership with MMGY Global. The brand connects adventure-seekers, explorers, romantics and originals to the one-of-a-kind mystique they’ll only find “out here” in Bermuda.

Each January, the organization begins the year with the Bermuda Pink Sale, which offers half-off rates during select travel windows throughout the year. It’s a bright beginning for Bermuda Tourism Authority in 2018 – and we can’t wait to see what comes next.
