MMGY Global launches the fifth wave of the Travel Safety Barometer, a sentiment tracking tool created for the travel and tourism industry to monitor American travelers’ perceptions of how safe it is to engage in specific travel behaviors as the country embarks on its reopening and recovery efforts. The Barometer, designed by MMGY’s Travel Intelligence research and insights division, is a valuable informational resource for both business and leisure travelers and the industry as the coronavirus continues to fundamentally change all aspects of our society, including when, where and how we feel comfortable traveling.

Travel Intentions Pulse Survey (TIPS): Impact of COVID-19

The MMGY Travel Intelligence team, conducts an ongoing tracking survey to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on the travel intentions of U.S. business and leisure travelers. Travel Advisors COVID-19 Sentiment Barometer: Wave III

MMGY Myriad, a leader in international destination marketing, and Travel Market Report , a news publication that serves as the voice of travel advisers around the globe, have partnered on an industry tracking survey to monitor the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on travel agencies. The Travel Advisors COVID-19 Sentiment Barometer is an online survey designed and analyzed by MMGY Travel Intelligence.

The latest findings indicate that travelers are being cautious about their international travel plans by booking with some of the longest windows advisors have ever seen. Meanwhile, there is still limited appetite for travel in the more immediate future – but the shift in interest to domestic, outdoor-focused trips continues.
