Heavily involved with industry advocacy, Clayton is a sought-after speaker and has been featured by news organizations such as Bloomberg, NPR, Skift and The New York Times. He has served on boards such as the United States Travel Association (USTA), The Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association and the New York Hospitality Council, and he is a strategic council member for Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) in their travel advisory practice.
