Kevin J. Shrier serves as president and chief executive officer of The Parking Spot (TPS). Kevin has been with TPS since its inception in 1998 and is responsible for all strategic and operating elements of the company.
Prior to joining TPS, Kevin was an equity partner and senior vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), formerly LaSalle Partners, a worldwide real estate investment management and services firm. While at JLL, Kevin specialized in executing land and underutilized property transactions. He was also responsible for raising capital for a variety of real estate vehicles.
During Kevin’s 28-year real estate career, he has distinguished himself as a proficient transaction executor as well as a proven leader and manager of people. Kevin has been intimately involved in acquiring all of the facilities in the TPS portfolio of properties while managing an operating entity of nearly 2,000 employees nationwide that report up through regional and general managers.
Kevin is chairman of the board of the Near Airport Parking Industry Trade Association (NAPITA). He also serves on the United States Green Building Council’s sustainable transportation advisory council. Kevin is an active member of the National Parking Association, the International Parking Institute, the Urban Land Institute and the Economic Club of Chicago.
Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in economics and management from Albion College in Albion, Michigan, and a master of management degree in finance and marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
