Namibia Tourism Board
Namibia selected MMGY Global to create a new website to attract travelers to this African nation. Our objective was to attract foreign visitors by showcasing the unique geography, wildlife, culture and history of Namibia. We also provided travel agents online tools and information they needed to plan vacations for their clients. The site was named 'Best Tourism Board Website in Africa' by TravelMole.
Web Development
We developed a cutting-edge photo gallery that displays hundreds of photos through an interactive element and then allows the user to click on a photo and zoom in for a detailed look in a slideshow view and tag the photo as a favorite. The location of each photo is also present, presenting geographic diversity and encouraging exploration of the entire country’s offerings.
An enhanced mapping solution was created to allow visitors to better plan their adventure, by browsing categories of interest and providing them with links to tourism industry partners.
